Dr. DJ Wilson

Dr. DJ Wilson is excited to join the team at Southern Smiles Dental Studio and looks forward to serving patients with a welcoming, patient-centered approach to care. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Pikeville in 2014 before graduating from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2018 with his Doctorate of Medicine of Dentistry. Born and raised in the mountains of Southeastern Kentucky, Dr. Wilson grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors and still enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time outside whenever possible. He has played basketball his entire life and remains a huge fan of the game. A lifelong hobby of his is collecting basketball cards, something he has enjoyed since childhood. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wilson also loves reading—thanks in part to growing up with his librarian mother—and has a passion for photography. Dr. Wilson is grateful for the warm welcome he has received at Southern Smiles Dental Studio and is truly thankful to be part of such a supportive team. He looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their smiles.
